Adding Steel Fiber to concrete leads to increased crack control. Optimised crack control means that the floors are easier to maintain since the floor structure is more resistant to fatigue and repeated heavy impact. Steel fibre reinforced floors are much tougher when compared to conventional rebar reinforced floors. Further, a steel fibre slab is uniformly reinforced throughout its section. Using steel fibre reinforcement also allows for faster construction.
