The flooring for autonomous mobile robots (AMRs) and automated guided vehicles (AGVs) can be complex. Automated warehouse distribution robots need to move quickly and operate efficiently as possible, and the floor finish plays a crucial role in how well AMRs and AGVs perform. Coefficient friction, surface roughness, floor flatness, gloss, and wear can all affect the ability of robots to run at their peak. We have successfully executed several such installations and understand the rigours of building such floors very well.
